No they don't, we own a subscription to Foxtel/kayo.
Or membership at one of the clubs, or merch, no one owns the comp, the arlc make the decisions on what's best for those 19 stakeholders, they don't need your opinion on who's next to receive one of their lucrative licenses

No fans, no game..

Who owns the game?! Players?! Administration?! fans?! If expansion discourse is public at least fans can have a voice.
Besides, suits thought Firehawks were a good idea. If you want expansion bids & decisions behind closed doors you wanna hope administration have finger on pulse. I think fans (on the whole) know better what will work..

Yes but the clubs are the fans voice. They will do what is best for them and as a result the fans

Fans don't have all of the information and won't get it.

Take Newtown Jets pulling out. Singleton had questions over the junior and TV numbers for Perth. Not sure it benefits anyone to have that debate in public.

Let the clubs question it, Then go to Fox or whoever can give them the info then make a decision from that

Clubs will act out of self interest. They don't represent fans & certainly not the sport. Which clubs spoke up about the axing of Souths?! Fans sentiment was correct there, with the returning club having success & the game growing by reconnecting with tradition.

Fans aren't privy to business information, but administrators who operate in a vacuum don't know how fans will receive decisions. Transparency is the fix..

So if fans aren't privy to information how can they have an informed opinion?

Pretty much any clubs members can vote out board members and so on, It is of no benefit for a club to go against what is best for its fanbase

Clubs know what's best for fans, ok..like parents.

In some cases, members own certain clubs. In the Broncos' case, you can buy shares and own part of the club.

We as fans are certainly the customer though and our TV viewership and attendances pay the bills. But it's the administration's job to decide on expansion.

.. I'd be listening to my customers then..
