At $20m each … and $60m for PNG ( thank you Aussie taxpayers) …a lot of bread heading the NRL’s way eventually…

Will Albo be paying for the Fiji team as well? China might have an eye on moving in on there in addition to PNG

A NZ school teacher posting a couple of AI images on LinkedIn, isn't probably enough to constitute a "bid"

There was an article before the bids went in

Yeah, kea & then another in Wellington somehow connected to the official body there. Also, a third Wellington bid with a rumoured cashed up investors. Orcas & Auckland have been hinted at. Nobody has come forward since media ban like Perth & png people or singo etc

Do you think multiple bids in the one area is a good idea? Wouldn’t it be better if all interested parties in say, Wellington, worked together.

Who was the 2nd Brisbane bid this time around?!

"According to The Daily Telegraph, the NRL has rejected eight different expansion bids, including one from the Newtown Jets, two from Brisbane, one from Central Queensland, one from Fiji, and three from New Zealand's South Island."

Jets clubs partnered together I thought. Unless, they came together after submitting own bid each.

South Island bids actually included orcas. Others were Kea with Moffett & there was also unnamed bid from Tony kidd group.
