If the book is anything to go by this movie will be two hours of self indulgent clap trap. One of the worst books I have ever read, can't wait to miss the movie.

Chook.

Still selling shit loads of copies though....

Watched in gold class.. was pretty good but I would have liked more of a focus on his post war life and death rather than his death in writing on the screen and then parades and celebrations.

seen it yesterday. Wasn't a bad film but far from great. Coopers performance is great though

Yep, was quite disappointed at the end. Otherwise thought it was a great movie.

He said he had knocked out Jesse Ventura and Ventura sued him and won. Even after he died Ventura continued with the lawsuit against his wife

I'd believe that he knocked him out.

Ventura is an ex-SEAL (or whatever the frogmen one was prior to SEALs actually existing), hates the government and the war in Iraq, and is old as f**k. This bloke is a clear nutcase who by his own admission got into bar fights with regularity over next to nothing, so if the 2 ever crossed paths the likelihood of a dust up (and the bloke with a 30 odd year age advantage coming out on top) would be very likely.

Ventura winning the case just means that the fight can't be proven to have occurred, or more likely is based on him slandering Ventura's character as opposed to simply stating he beat him in a fight.

From the Hollywood Babble-On bloopers section "Shit That Should Not Be". Obvious fake baby is obvious.

Brilliant movie, just cemented more in my mind how much of a hero Chris Kyle is. He did his job as he was supposed to, protecting marines from an overwatch position. You can't blame him for calling them savages after what he saw them do.

The movie is largely a work of fiction. So much of this shit was made up, it is frustrating. Such an interesting story and for whatever reason Hollywood decided it still needed to be exaggerated and falsified.
