gallen

he was probably the worst kangaroo in both games

i think ricky even hooked him b4 his time yesterday

Hmm, I was going to start a thread on this actually monitoring the form of all the Shark players in the cup.

Didn't see much of the game, but I noticed Gall wasn't out there for a long period of time.

He's been terrible in the offloading department. But thats his job. Then Toops takes over from him. Whos to say the attention he is attracting isn't making the space out wider?
He needs a good game.

I've been quite impressed with him. I imagine Kearney off Toops will become quite a common play next year.

Toops threw a poor offload also, Gallen was ok without being spectacular. I'd say Cam Smith had an off game also.

he was average in his first stint but solid in his 2nd.

He is also the leader of the Australian backrow don't forget. He has a lot of pressure on him with two rookes (given he only made his test debut last year himself!) and seems to be trying to do to much. He is not playing his hole punching role, he is being forced to do the dirty work while laff and stewart attack the edges.

Gallen sucked in the first stanza.
However in his 2nd stint...
In his defence he threw a pass while under heavy traffic ..and nobody was there .
It was a great pass had anyone been alert.

How did Manly put 40 on a team that has Slater and Inglis in it?

gallen made quite a few hit ups and tackles the other night.

apart from those silly offloads, i think you will find he had a good game.

I thought his workrate was enormous although haven't seen any stats. Admittedly that pass was stupid. Gal can't seem to get through a game without the inevitable brain snap.

Frenzy.

Yes there were negatives but have a look at his first 3 HUs and first 5 tackles. He rocked and rolled the poms, make no mistake. He won every collision he contested and don't worry about how hard he was going, the poms would of been feeling it big time.

Gallen has always been an error machine. He'll always give away sillies. The balance is still in favour of the positives overall.

So does anyone know where to go to get stats for the matches in the world cup?, so far that rlwc site seems to be a full on joke
