Anasta happy to play #6

He is a ball running 5/8th and was so at the Roosters. He has been a bandaid fix to some of our problems. Maybe with Moltzen out of the halves role now with injury. Anasta could slot into his actual position

If Anasta is anywhere near the 6 jersey or in the starting line up even then my deepest sympathies go out to tigers fans.

He is the worst thing that could happen to Brooks' development.

Brooks needs someone next to him who he will be playing with for many years, not some tired old slow bloke who thinks he's Andrew Johns but is more like Sam Isemonger, with less heart.

This is why Moltzen or Sironen would be ideal for 2014 only.

I thought Sironen would be first choice for 5/8 over both Anasta and Moltzen.
Where was Potter going to play him?

We can only hope Austin gets his act together, because Anasta has shown bugger all for a while now.

I would have thought he'd be happy to just be anywhere near making the 17 or that a NRL club is still paying him.

Austin will hopefully be a shoe in for the 6 now

Potter is coaching for his future, I don't think he will pick blokes on reputation...he can't afford to.

I've quite liked Austin in the games I've seen. He is a good footballer. I reckon he'll go well for you.

He once ran for 0 metres in a match, ran for 5 metres on ANZAC Day and regularly ran for 20 odd metres in the backrow. He wasn't a ball running anything he always passed as soon as he got the ball

We have some options for the 6 jersey. I really hope that if Anasta gets a go and doesn't perform Potter gets rid of him.

I can't see Anasta playing in the forwards so 6 has to be his role. I don't think though he will go well there consistently.

I think he was meant to be a forward, and could've been an all time great as well in the back row but I think what always held him back was he didn't have a forwards mentality. Always had the impression he was afraid to mess his hair up at times

He will be in the starting 13 and he will not play in the forwards, so that only leaves the no6 available. Also I doubt Potter would risk a Brooks/Austen combo from round one

If you play him anywhere it has to be at 6 because Anasta is a complete waste of space in the pack. Time will tell if he is any better in the halves
