Actually not bad, Tony P is a panther through and through he wouldn't let his team mates down.

As captain I wonder if he will play more minutes?

It won't matter if he can still make 10 metres every hit up.

Smart move...Puletua oozes respect...I imagine from refs as well... guess this may be how Langs thinking.
Priddis to me is in the Monaghan, Senter Woolford category when it comes to the (C) imo...ie: possible liability.

Priddis is playing well enough without the captaincy burden.

Tony seems like a guy who gains a lot of respect. Good luck to him.

Good luck to the big fella!

Agree with Ink on Priddis as captain, a little bit too hot-headed

he has a lot of ground to make up after only playing 5 games last year, but it had to be him with daylight second. Priddis gives away far to many penalties per season for him to be skip.................

well done, not a bad move at all. lets hope that he does run the show when it comes to captaincy. and hope this isnt just a shadow for gower to run it

Was it Tony P or Joe G, several years back...maybe 03...carried 4 WT's players over the line with him in an awesome solo try that didnt spell t-r-y but spelt d-e-t-e-r-m-i-n-at-i-o-n?

Tony P doesn't drink either. After what happened with Gower this may have played a part in him being named captain as well. He will definitely be an inspiration to the young forward pack we have, hopefully he can stay fit all year.

Not who I'd want at the helm personally, (I think Priddo would do a better job being a playmaker and an 80 min player) But ultimately the decision rests with our coach.

I think it's more to do with Tony's efforts off the field as opposed to on the field stuff. Gower will still be running the show, just won't have the C beside his name.

That was Joe.
