Better be fine enough tomorrow. I would rather be rating a Hayned out game than hating a rained out game. :p

The game's meant to have the lowest chance of rain this weekend, or so the DT said yesterday.

gonna state the obvious, but if it continues to rain, the bogans have no chance. :(

Is a bogan an equivalent of all those skanky looking junkies one sees when passing through Newtown?

What a f**king sh!t-hole that place is.

The rain will suit Storm...

I dont know about that, the Titans v Eels games was muggy and they still threw the ball around and didnt make to many errors. The storm will definatly play wet weather footy taking Inglis and Slater out of the game abit while Parramatta wont and that may work with or against them.

Parramatta and Melbourne both have very good kicking games so that might decide the game. IMO Parra have the better pack and will make more meters up the middle so that will favour us.

Storm has the better defensive structure...if you dominate up the middle it may not lead to points.

I dont think weather will be a factor here gents....

Parra may not turn up .... Maybe Anderson will play another half time recording of Parra scoring the winning try in the grand final against Brisbane....

That is arguable in the last 11 weeks parramatta have had 11.2 points scored against them compared to the storms 13.4 (voth very low). This is including the game parramatta got done 37-0 and also includes 7 games against top 8 teams (+ playing all 4 top 4 teams, playing the dogs and dragons twice) plus teams like the Tigers, Penrith and Warriors who have the ability to put points on anyone.

Also in the last 11 weeks we have only had more than 2 tries put on us in 3 games (Melbourne, Tigers and Dragons) and have kept teams trieless twice.

IMO is parramatta keep the strom deep in their own half for most of the game, our defence is good enough to stop your attacking ability. If parramatta is kept in their own half IMO we are more likley then the storm to score from 50+ meters out because of our second phase play and ball playing forwards.

Laugh but we have an advantage in the Props (Cayless and Fui compared to Tolman and White) and the backrow is fairly even (Hindy, Benny, Lowire v Johnson, Hoffman and Blair) and while your backrow might look better on paper Ben Smith has been a tower of strength in defence hammering players and Lowire has been very solid and Hindmarsh is in the best form of his life.

The bench is a clear win for parramatta with Mateo, Mannah and Joe.G against Tandy, Anderson and Lima. Mateo is a trump off the bench otherwise it is fairly even while Mannah and Joe are in unbelievable form aswell. Mannah is probably the best young prop in the game and Joe's running game has been at his best and his experiance is showing through.

Like it or not our pack has held up against the Dogs, Dragons and Titans pack who all have more experiance and better packs then the Storm. You guys have played an error riddled Manly and Broncos teams, dont expect so many free-bees from the parramatta side who will kick better, chase better and be more difficult to handle in attack and defence. If we keep our errors down while still playing our game (like we have in last 11 weeks) we will win IMO.

spot on

The storm will be tough to beat but if the eels play like they have been in the last 11 weeks, they should pull through with the win - rain, hail or shine.

There is a guy called Cam Smith at hooker, and he is better by a MILE than any of your hookers. If Smith wasn't there you have a point. With Smith there, Melbourne have the better pack!

I definatly agree but I am refering more to the go-forward which i probably didnt make clear. While the hooker is a forward, gone are the days that they actually play like one now they are more halves (Cam esp who plays half the game at first or second reciever).
IMO parramatta go forward will be far superior to the storms, so even wet weather footy will suit us. Plus IMO I think parramatta have a more mobile pack with big guys like Cayless, Fui, Mannah, Hindy and Joe.G all pretty quick for their size add to that Smith, Mateo and Lowrie and there is good go-forward, solid and hard hitting defence and flare... this is were we will win the game IMO.
