Cayless was used in the backrow before and it wasn't a pretty move.

I would guess they would be the only real positions with some assurity at this point in time. Mateo will either be at 5/8 or lock and will be in the starting lineup.

The backline and backrow will be interesting to see who ends up where. The bench in itself will be interesting as well to see whether or not Moimoi starts or comes off the bench.

At this stage of the off-season it would be harder to determine who will be where though some spots may be easier than others. Much will depend on how last years Under 20's and Wenty players repsond under Anderson.

I think the starting pack is more or less chosen but not the bench.

I wonder if Smith will still be trialled in the pack.

During the Trials, I think BUrt and Hayne will share the games.

I also think Mateo and KK will also share the games in the trials at 6.

I assume he'll trial the new boys but I don't think they'll make the 1st 13 in round 1. Maybe the bench.

I don't clearly remember but the first time when Caylo was played in the backrow he was quite good. I think it was under Smith and he had a very nice short passing game.

The 2nd time didn't work too well and the reason was not really Caylo but more the alternative props were not good enough and we then lacked the go forward upfront.

I think Caylo would be better suited to the 2nd row due to his size and will allow him to regain his offloading abilities. As a prop, he is usually the 1st or 2nd to ruck out and the opposition forwards are waiting for him and due to his smaller size, he gets dominated.

However, unless we have another prop to take over, we can only resort to Caylo as a prop.

If we had a pack, though aging

8. Jay Cay
9. MK
10. Paulo
11. Hindy
12. Caylo
13. Mateo

14. Fui.

It will allow caylo to play in the 2nd row and possibly allow him to stay on the field longer.

The only time I want to see Cayless in the second row is when it is in the Ken Thornett Stand.

Would only woirk if Jason comes home and at this point in time he is still in England but may want to return. It won't happen for twelve months at least and with some luck by that stage we are swapping Nathan for Jason.

I reckon the only players that are sure to hold thier spots are Hayne, Inu, Hindy, cayless. Mateo and Finch. The rest of the spots are open to anyone who wants them.
I personally feel that we have seen the last of Ben Smith in the centres or even in the team.
