Pretty empahtic wasn't it?

He gave the answer and the bloke was still asking the question.

have to admit that when he would rather kick the ball over the line instead of make effort, he lost my remaining support

He'll be there when Hayne is out, no doubt. And he was our best tonight, so I don't understand the clapping....

its so much better to just watch the ball almost get grounded by teh opposition in goal

I thought he was probably our best tonight tbh ... altho that probably isn't saying alot

Why?

All Anderson was saying was if Hayne is available, he is fullback.

Watching tonight, with Hayne on the wing, we were far less threatening.

thats not what the thread title says

I didn't see the interview, I'm assuming it was whether Hayne was available or not

it was in reference to using burt more at fullback, as someone else said, ando dismissed the question before the journo even finished it.

he then explained that hayne has been crook and that was the ONLY reason burt had some minutes at fb tonight.

hayne played busted and still racked up 185 metres.

Sorry Twiz I was assuming you saw it.

The question was about Burt and Hayne swapping and whether he might try that more and Ando emphatically answered 'NO' before the question had finished, yhen said basically if Hayne is fit he is fullback.

I turned FOX off in anger before the press conference, can someone give us a run down on how Ando saw the game ?

Burt saved a try with a desperate tackle and then another on the next play by grounding a ball in the corner. He is fine at fullback & fine on the wing.

He basically said that the effort was there, but that we offered nothing with the ball especially in the second half and that we didn't play enough footy to worry the Tigers

Well I agree with that ! IMO we were the better team, we had it all over them for long periods of the match but did absolute nothing with the ball :x:x

I am still in total disbelief that Burt actually made the tackle. In the entire time he has been at Parramatta that easily has to be the best tackle (perhaps the only) he has ever made.
