Decent pick up. He plays a similar style to Brailey which is what Obi must want. I think we will be looking it as a very astute signing by the end of the year.

Don’t mind this as a cover for Brailey, especially the way the comp is this year.
McCollough is past his prime but he is still solid in defence and usually has good service from dummy half.

It's only for the rest of the season, sensible signing, allows Connor to continue his current role.

He's been ordinary since his team mate Adam Blair blew up his knee.
Better than nothing which is what we had I guess.

wow, out of nowhere.

Not even a whiff that this was coming which means the club is doing it the right way for once. Also great that we have the cap space to do it which also means the club is doing things the right way for once.

I mean he's not a world beater, but to pick up a player of his experience to fill a gap after an injury is a very welcome surprise. He's not going to win us games, but this should still minimize the impact of Brailey's injury. Good stuff.

This is a solid signing given how last minute it is. I’d rather have a 200+ gamer at no.9 than a rookie and I’d rather keep Watson doing what he does best coming off the bench, although this might free him up to play FB while Ponga is suspended.

McCollough won’t do anything spectacular but he’ll hold the middle together and will deliver accurate service which is the main thing.

Overall it’s a good signing given our current hooking situation.

yeh great experience in a crucial position that's for sure. Prefer to keep Watson where he is than put him at FB ...under Brown we had enough of swapping and changing these guys to last us years of angst.

Give young Tex his shot and keep Watson as a super sub and let him perfect that role.
