Storm in the modern game have been dominant along with Manly. Storm were tarnished by systemic salary cap cheating, never seen before in the NRL history. I don't like how so many storm bred influence like the wrestling, holding players down, chicken wings etc all came out of Melbourne. They have also been blessed by have 4 or 5 absolute superstars of the modern game, and the Spine has remained intact for many years. But no way can you compare them to the St George side of 11 in a row.. Voss is an idiot to state that after a thrashing to the Bunnies who are 1 week away from mad Monday anyway..

The people in charge changed the rules of rugby league to give the others a chance that is how good Saints were from 56-66.

With the Storm it is the other way around, the NRL changed the rules to let the Storm dominate the game. Their dominance is to do with wrestling, chicken wings etc. Grubby stuff that should not be in the game and they are the best at it which gives them the advantage against the other teams. The Storm literally run the game and can do no wrong just so the NRL can show they have a strong team in Victoria.

The Storm have changed the game in a bad way since they dominated the comp it is not funny. Watching teams slow the game down with this wrestling is really killing the game. Watch a game in the 80's, 90's and early 00's and a set takes less than a minute. Now, nothing less than a minute. I watched an old Dragons v Knights game and in the last 3 minutes saw close to 5 sets of 6. It was unbelievable how quick it was.ANd best of all, I never once saw a player look at the ref and wait for him before he got off the player, They just got off and played on.

This. Great post mate. I do however believe the 2017 storm squad is the best team we've seen for a while. Either that or everyone else is just shithouse.
