Well, for anything other than AFL and cricket, the Perth facilities are sub standard. You can bang on about 60K capacity all you like, but Perth Stadium is useless for virtually every other sport on the planet. The same can be said about the MCG.

That's the point.
Useless? It's attracted origin, union tests, soccer internationals. And got 60k to all of them.
Useless LOL.

Yes useless. Comprehension is not your strong point.

Nobody has said it hasn't attracted events - it has. The fact is the viewing experience and sight lines for spectators for anything requiring a rectangular field (pretty much every sport in the world) is sub par.
Even Accor shits all over it in this regard.

USELESS.

Same as CommBank, bugger knows why they picked the decor at both grounds

They pick grey so as it stays neutral, but in the process it ends up looking crap. Just grow some balls and in most instances they should just pick the colours of the team that will use it the most and pay the most rent money and will call it home for its entire existence ffs!

The multi colours works best, hides when seats are empty. Nq stadium does it quite well.

Yeah, I wish that Sky Stadium here in Wellington was built with multi-colour seating instead of it's stark yellow look that shows up every unfilled space. A mix of a muted yellow, grey & black for instance would've been so much better.

Mind you.. I also wish it was built as a rectangular stadium, along with a set of upgrades for the Basin Reserve so cricket and footy wouldn't share facilities at all - but that's a complete tangent.

The Gabba implementation is possibly the best when it comes to multi-coloured seats. On TV it can be really difficult to work out if there is a crowd or not.

Townsville Stadium would be better if they didn't do the light grey Vs.

Not sure why more don't do it as it also helps from a maintenance perspective.
