Sorry boys and girls but I have to vent,

Andrew VOSS is the most one sided commenter in the game when the Dragons are playing and I don't mean that in a positive way. Seriously, he must have been given a beating by the Happy Dragon in another lifetime. I know people will say it is my choice whether I listen to the commentary or not, but most of the time I enjoy the others in the box (even when the mighty Dragons aren't winning). Gus and Freddy can be entertaining at time and Rabs is a pretty objective caller, IMO.

Anyway, if you ever read this Vossy go back and listen to your call of the Broncos v Dragons on what is today Friday 17 June 2011. Absolutely disgraceful. Channel 9 need to replace you as their second string commenter asap.

Fair enough boys. Broncs were better and in the end deserved the win. Was just curious as to the thoughts out there. And couldn't agree more about being there. Considered the mute button several times and only have myself to blame for not hitting it. I like to hear how we're going injury wise, etc. so that tends to keep me listening among other things.

I emailed Vossy at half time to let him know what I thought of his commentary. The 2nd half was marginally better, but not much.

Is his dad on the board of directors at channel 9, because it's got me stuffed how he ended up in Rugby League commentary and all the other related jobs he's picked up since?

He's never played the game, isn't particularly funny or charismatic and his knowledge of the game is often found wanting...

Gus might piss people off, but at least he has the credentials to suggest that he knows a thing or two about Rugby League. The rest of the boys have all played at the highest level except for Rabbs who is a deadset legend, and did his apprenticeship calling the races before he moved to Rugby League.

Vossy just turned up out of no where one day and I wanna know how this happened and why channel 9
persist with him despite his lack of qualifications and popularity.
