Certainly the team are playing so much better under the new coach and given the key players missing I thought last night was an outstanding effort. The Titans played good footy and Parramatta turned them around when trys appeared inevitable. The effort was enormous.
What does concern me though is how Mr Anderson "wears his heart on his sleeve."
Im all for passion and encouragement and certainly expressions of dissapointment but the attack witnessed on Joel Ready in the "sheds" at half time and the aggression from the coaches box didnt appear to be any of those.
People respond to fear only for a short while before resentment steps in. Is this why Inu is simply not the player he was.
Maybe this is what the team needs but Im not so sure. Id like to add that Ive never seen Wayne Bennett act such as we witnessed last night.
I do hope Im not reading this wrong.

well most of the players didn't respond so well to the softly, softly approach that the Mastercoach employed last year.

as long as DA mixes it up with encouragement and doesn't do it for the sake of it a rant and a rave can be effective at times. he's not happy he doesn't need to sugarcoat it for them.

anyway, DA said that he wasn't giving them a spray at halftime, rather he was 'encouraging' them.

Gaz i was talking to my wife about exactly the same thing this morning. It does worry me a bit. I don't know anyone who responds well to being screamed at, unless you are in the army

true Stuke, as we aren't in the changerooms at every half time it is hard to tell whether it is a common thing or not

Bellamy & Hasler are angry coaches and I am pretty sure they are the last 2 Premiership winning coaches!

I am happy for Ando to coach how he wants, if he fails when he has the team he wants he will be let go, simple!

from what was said on MMM by Gus, they needed a rocket up them. He was questioning the attitude shown by the team.

LOL WHAT THE??

Coaches aren't allowed to get pissed off at Players who make stupid decisions repeatedly???

FMD, are these guys Fine China or Footy players being paid to do their job??

I would dare say that would have been alot of frustration from knowing what the players are capable of and not delivering

yeah ando has high expectations for his players but so do we fans, I reckon i have been louder and more angry than Ando at times during games.

These guys who gets paid 3-4 times more than the average Joe aren't exactly kids. If they feel "fear" at an angry coach - who is half their own size - giving them nothing more than a verbal, then it speaks volumes about the blokes character. If they play sh*t and feels resentment for getting told so, then I'd be happy for the player to leave the club.

I almost broke my coffee table in half when Lowrie threw that stupid ball to Inu!

Anderson had every right to be angry last night, we lost that game in the first 10 minutes, it was 3 tries a piece and our defence was great! The Titans have great halves and a great team and we matched them and should beat them except for stupid plays!

what happens in the sheds should stay in the sheds.what i liked is when inu made a mistake near his line and then cayless put his finger to his head and i think he said "think about what your doing"or 'that was really stupid "or something like that ,its good to see him act like a captain for once and show some emotion.

Yep, should have won....silly plays just buried us. DA has every right to be mad and yell. Its his JOB to ensure the team performs...cuz when they dont, who do u think will get the blame? the coach.

even i was swearing my head off at ever stupid play.

Agreed, the more passion they all start to show, the better.

Inu had a shocker imo

That was when Inu 'almost killed Prince with that terribly late charge after he kicked the ball.' You could tell it was late because prince stayed down until the penalty was given, then jumped up to kick the goal:sarcasm::x
Caylo didnt see what the penalty was for and asked the ref who told him it was terribly late and Inu had almost killed a player.
