Makes perfect sense . A player of his caliber you can bet there will be plenty of suitors ( Storm ? ) that will jump at the opportunity of signing him very quickly .

The Dragons supposedly had a $ 1.5 mill. war chest at their disposal , we have signed only 1 player thus far , hat being Faamuasili , so there must be more dough left in the bank .

Unless money has been put aside for Jack Bird ? If it came to a choice of having Angus Crichton or Bird I know which of the two I would be pursuing and with the speed of lighting .

Have only now read the FOX Sports item on Crichton and now realize that at this stage the story really has no legs to it . There’s a good chance he will still be at the Roosters next season , but may be free at it’s conclusion .

Shame .

I feel sure that if Creighton's manager secures a good long term deal before season 2021, the Roosters won't stand in Creighton's way. They have bigger fish to fry and would be happy to finalise other deals now rather than at the end of 2021.
