With cutting remarks like that you should be an action hero.

Opinion noted. Our history is every bit as rich as yours. Richer still in 2000 and 2001...

Your history is just that, history, it’s stagnent, no new history will ever be produced, you gave up the ghost
To suggest it as rich as ours is absurd, West’s, Balmain, Norths & Newtown were all about the same level, only Souths were the pride of the league, only Souths have won 21 times & at least we have an opportunity to keep winning, you never will again

It's a subforum. The burrow may be the sheltered workshop you're looking for.

The ABS does? Really?

I sit in the burrow and I have assisted people get work in Supported Employment (not a sheltered workshop).

Cheap shots like yours show your intellect. In fact your IQ would be lower than many.

The Roosters had a shit load of time and money to catch up to SS 20 premierships and won 2 and lost many GF's along the way.

Forever in our shadow has been and will always be apt.

Opinion noted. Just so you know though, fans of the other clubs feel about as much for souffs as you do for the other 15 clubs.

You mean the history of your Frankenstein of a club that was cobbled together in 2000? 17 years is not exactly rich, but whatever...

We've won as many titles as souffs in that time, and were actually playing games when souffs never could.

Cheap shots do show an element of a person's character. You just rolled out a cheap shot....

Forever in your shadow? Both Balmain and Easts had more titles than souffs at points in history, so hardly forever.

I must admit you have got us there a vast majority of Souths fans are clients of Centrelink.

Well played.

I can never understand the constant negativity some fans like to throw at opposing teams. We all select to follow particular clubs for different reasons, we all have different backgrounds but we have one thing in common, our love for the game. I always appreciate constructive criticism but not personal insults. If you wish to join the conversation, do so but provide some constructive dialogue.
This would be as they are basically unhappy people and sadly can only feel better by putting other down.

1/10 effort

I couldn't care less what other people think as long as our success continues, which it will.

The fact you think 2014 matters more than 2013 or any other premiership by any other team speaks volumes of your little man syndrome.

Continued Success? We won a title more recently then you. Since then, the Rorters have only showed a continued ability to choke in big games. I assume that’s why Uncle Nick got impatient with trying to play by the rules and decided to buy a title in 2018 like he did in 2013.

Nope, I don't blame him. However, I will say that I think he could have been far more honest with us and not dragged things out like he did. Three weeks before signing with Easts, he was on a club video talking about how much he loves the club, etc. If that was the case, I'd have hoped he would have realised how destabilising it was to drag things out over months, then say he's waiting to see how things progress in the new year before making a decision, only to confirm the signing a couple of days later.

He still hasn't addressed members personally, which, for a player who won all the member awards this season and knows how much he's appreciated at the club, is pretty poor form and quite weak in my book.
I however do blame Angus a lot.

Angus is a hypocrite and a traitor.

He has said for about 2 years how much likes being at Souths.

In the past 6 months he has told players and many others that he is going to stay at Souths.

Angus will get some life lessons very soon. Souths fans used to adore him and now they will hate him as much for he has shown himself for the duplicitous LIAR that he is.

Yes... continued success like consistently being in the finals and a premiership chance, like other well run clubs. It is only a matter of time until we win another one.

Souths are unlikely to ever win another one. They just lack a winning culture in the modern era. The concept of professionalism has passed them by.

Yet In the last 40 years with all those brown paper bags and a bottomless moneypit you have managed 2 premierships to our one. If you go back 50 years we have 5 and you blokes have 4. Go back over the last decade and we have won the most recent of the two sides. Finals footy is great, but it means diddly squat if you choke nearly every time you get there which the Goosters are renowned for.

Why do Souths continually say they won 21. They won 20 and scabbed 1 by dogging the Tigers. Good working class people. Apparently 90% of the strike breakers at the wharves were Souths supporters. Some things never change. Scab Sydney

The comments about Souths fans and members being on centrelink may be justified but at least Souths fans stump up for membership.

Roosters fans are apparently quite affluent but choose not to support their club by paying for membership. Is it because they just dont care?
Or just prefer to spend their money on butt bleaching?

No, I'm over it.

That was a flash in the pan for souths in the modern era. They are now back to the mediocrity they are renowned for.

Their recruitment and retention since then has been woeful and they blame everyone except themselves.

Yet since then the Roosters and Souths have won the same amount of premierships? Isnt that the ultimate guide to success really?

And has the Roosters recruitment and retention been that great in that time? You let Maloney, Jennings and RTS go and kept the likes of Ferguson, SKD and Pearce for a number of years. Not to mention signed Martin Kennedy, Joe Burgess, Nikorima and Copley in that time. Hardly big success stories are they?
