Says you. Accept it, nobody else worships souffs the way a handful of souffs fans seem to believe. Your views on my club really are irrelevant as far as I'm concerned.

Says me? Well, yeah, it's my opinion. And who said anything about anyone else worshipping Souths? Where did that come from? Personally, I'm here on a Souths forum to talk about my club. You'll never catch me on a Tigers forum putting shit on their club - they love their team and that's fine. If other people's views on your club are so irrelevant, what the hell are you doing on a "Souffs" forum putting shit on them and defending your team? Just 'get on the bus' and enjoy the ride.

2005 was better. A team of rejects, rookies and journeymen combined to take down competition heavyweights in the semis and win it all.

2014 was just another example of chequebook rugby league striking the jackpot.

And I can guarantee 2014 meant just as much to Souths fans as 2005 meant to Tigers fans.

Back on topic you sad f**ks?

What happens to Gus's amputated finger? Does he keep it? Can the club put it on display or an eBay auction to raise awareness for signing to the roosters?

Not trying to be sour at Angus leaving, but surely the loss of part of your middle finger would have to impact your ability to catch, pass (particularly left to right) and tackle?

It's a subforum. The burrow may be the sheltered workshop you're looking for.

The ABS credits Sths with 21 p/ships proudly supported by "whoever!!"

The ABS does? Really?

That's your serious response? Haha. I suspect you might actually be involved with Wests Tigers' management. Would explain a lot. One of the clubs that somehow manages to be an even bigger basket case than us year after year. Well done.

1/10 effort

I couldn't care less what other people think as long as our success continues, which it will.

The fact you think 2014 matters more than 2013 or any other premiership by any other team speaks volumes of your little man syndrome.
Even Cam Smith is calling for TPA's to be stopped and understands why fans think what they think about you guys.....

Yeah, no.

Souths have been an abject failure for most of the history of the NRL

Geez mate. Tigers have certainly been without proper governance and stability for the last few years but it pales by comparison to the garbage that’s been dished up by SSFC in the past.

Not suggesting either is better than the other but aside from 2014 and 2005, you’d safely suggest both clubs have had high success rates of failure.

Heck, even my club (Panthers) dished up shit for a decade.

Those in glass houses and such.

He’s the voice of the current players. Of course he’s going to save face by suggesting TPAs require revision.

Had you asked him during his foundation years he’d probably have shut his mouth.

Cam Smith is a master manipulator, all the good minds are. Don’t buy into his regime when you know he’s both a hypocrite and a yes man

Ultimately Angus left because he doesn’t want to play for your club.

A solid offer was put forward, he rejected. If he wanted to stay he would have.

Plus, his chances of representative football is much improved if he leaves.

He is leaving an average roster, rookie coach and a club which had failed to hit the heights of 2014.

Do you blame him?

Of course we've both been poor over long periods. Not denying that for a second. Just wanted to give a bit back to SMBN for giving us a hard time. What I find interesting though is opposition fans are very quick to tell Souths fans to stop living in the past when we bring up things like total premiership wins, etc, yet when we criticise other teams for recent performances (e.g. Tigers' form for the past 12 or so years) the comeback is always something along the lines of 'you guys have been shit for 40 years.' Can't have it both ways.

Do they blame him ? Of course they do. The idiot fans of that sad club are the most pathetic in the game. If anyone dares leave their joke of a club, they always hold them personally responsible and hurl hate at the player for the remainder of their career. Most other clubs wish a player that leaves well and moves on, but not lol@souffs. They are a bunch of vindictive, grubby little worms with small man complex as evidenced by them throwing out our juniors because we had the hide to accept players who wanted to better themselves at our club.

OH and btw, our kids are apparently enjoying playing in the Balmain comp. They no longer have to deal with the feral scum from the lol@souffs comp that threatens them and their parents with violence just about every weekend. They are enjoying playing footy with decent people for a change and are much happier. Thank you BaImain and I think that calls for a good old lol@souffs.

Nope, I don't blame him. However, I will say that I think he could have been far more honest with us and not dragged things out like he did. Three weeks before signing with Easts, he was on a club video talking about how much he loves the club, etc. If that was the case, I'd have hoped he would have realised how destabilising it was to drag things out over months, then say he's waiting to see how things progress in the new year before making a decision, only to confirm the signing a couple of days later.

He still hasn't addressed members personally, which, for a player who won all the member awards this season and knows how much he's appreciated at the club, is pretty poor form and quite weak in my book.

You sound pretty emotional. Are you ok?

You've got a great season to look forward to at your club yet you choose to come here and give us a hard time while, ironically, talking about 'small man complex'...

I'm fine thank you, Mr `13 posts. Are you named after the sudden spiral out of the top 8 Souffs had after 2014 ?

You must be so proud of your eleven and half thousand posts, champ, haha! Time well spent right there. Don't know how you find the time to get out to the fantastic Balmain junior comp with all that posting going on.

And our drop off after 2014 was more a slide than a spiral, but suddenslide didn't sound as good.
