Good idea, bring in the Gold Coast, Warriors,and NQ. get Brisbane and Melbourne to play each other on a weekly basis so the 2 News Ltd teams can have there own comp,

i would perfer though in january the state cup went head to head with the qld cup
be awesome to have a preseason comp like this

maybe the top 4 teams from each could enter it and have a 8 team 2 group comp with 2 state cup and 2 qld cup teams in each group

Just a rant on that I would like to envision is to have the Sydney clubs break-away from the NRL and make another competition with a couple of new additions just like the N.F.L. in the U.S.

The new comp would comprise of:

North Sydney
South Sydney
Sydney Roosters
Western Suburbs
Balmain
Newtown
Penrith
Parramatta
Cronulla
St George
Manly
Newcastle
Illawarra
Canberra
New England (North-West N.S.W.)
Central Coast

This strength in numbers would give the new league a more fairer bargaining stance with the TV networks.

But I am opening a can of worms here and I realise we went through the super-league war.

But since then,there's something missing and it has not been the same ever since.

*Sigh* One can only dream...
