Apologies if discussed previously but I've just been reading about the 'Fijian Warriors' franchise playing in this years National Rugby Championship run by the ARU.

With the dithering over whether to include a Fiji team in the NSW Intrust Super comp ....and to my knowledge ...no decision still to be made .....is this a case of RL's procrastination putting them behind the opposition ?

4 years! Procrastination really is the thief of time. There should be an all encompassing RL logo with a Latin phrase around it trumpeting RL's ability to waste opportunity after opportunity. Anyone speak Latin?

I think Latin is a dirty word at the RLIF at the moment.

The Fiji bid shouldn't really be affected by this, but it is another example of sheer incompetence from RL admin.

Any phrase, Latin or otherwise should have incompetent in it somewhere.

yeah it's a huge disappointment that NRL couldn't make sure that Fiji NSW cup bid got over the line this year! NRL crowds are down, i think the product never expanding is getting a bit stale, they will realise soon that they need to risk international style expansion and need to back it! On the flip side, the ESL and associated competitions are getting somewhere. 2 welsh teams, 2 french teams, 1 trans atlantic team in the english competitions.
