Another dumb arsed Ray Hadley comment...

You can debate your opinion on here with with hundreds of people, but if you ring up Ray he'll proably cut you off or maybe even bag you out. The standard of callers on his show is shocking. Nearly all of them are deadbeats, which gives a fair indication of who is listening.

Not if you under 10 or female, or both... he'll prolly send you a Jumper or such :roll: :roll:

Hadley is a *already edited*. How the f**k do they have the exclusive rights yet refuse to call the 7;30 game. Yet they spend 5 and half hours earlier in the day dribbling and sometimes talking about footy. I don't find them at all funny. If I want comedians I'll go to a show or watch the commedy channel.

(a) because the majority of hardcore fans don't like him and refuse to listen to his show.
And (b) because its another medium that takes away listeners and callers. He invites people to call the Show and still he ridicules his listeners.

No he isn't the only tool in the shed. ABC and 2UE still have footy programs. Hadley is number 1. He is also number 1 in talkback during the forenoon midweek, ahead of John Laws. Perhaps that has something to do with Alan Jones being on beforehand but I think you'd have to agree that he ain't the only tool in that shed.

The best caller in the game... how the guy can talk for so long without a breath never fails to amaze me. And I don't mind the Continuous Call at all.

But I can't stand his talkback show or his ego. I caught the tail end of a conversation today where some woman was comparing some policies in Australia vs policies in Sweden. Ray says "you can't possibly compare an island nation like Australia with a landlocked European country like Sweden." He cut her off quick smart when she tried to explain where Sweden was. ;-)

I listen very briefly most weekends as it still is a football show. However its about a thousand times worse than the Wilkins, Gibbs, Brohman and Voss show that preceeded them on 2GB. I prefer the ABC but find the Wok a little boring. I would always choose 2UE over 2GB in the 12-1 slot when Voss's show goes head to head with them. Hadley is lucky that his footy move to 2GB coincided with Jones coming across and 2UE falling apart. It was always going to be a ratings success in comparison to the previous years team who were on a very weak 2GB.

Hadley's morning show isn't too bad. At least he doesn't try to be funny.

Hadley is a great caller of the game. I'd listen to him more If I wasn't so sick of hearing about how much of a gibberer Bozo and Blocker are.

Every second word out of his mouth seems to be Gibberer. :roll:

I still listen to him, but not as much. The other guy who does it is good too I think.

Anyway, I usually try and listen to ABC. Its not too bad, even if it does have Warren Ryan.

Hadley does an OK call but I prefer Andrew Moore except for how he pronounces Ls

I enjoy Sunday lunchtime. I regularly have a few beers a bbq and listen to Hadley until the footy comes on Fox.
Its a bit of a habbit I suppose.
I only change the dial for the races. (if I like the Sunday meeting).
The ugly thing and the silly songs get on the nerves after a while but when he does talk footy I like it.
I dont listen to Voss at all. He's up against the races on Saturday so it rules me out.

HOw can you say he talks footy at all ? he doesn't and what he does mention is so heavily opinionated and lacking in knowledge of tha game it just does the game a dis-service.
