Thaiday' push in the back was pathetic.
After the Broncos made an error Vunivalu was trying to get the ball off Boyd who was holding it away from him.
Gave him a run of the mill push which should have been the end of the piece.
Thaiday then ran in and nearly put Vunivalu in row 5.
Such a nothing incident that Thaiday inflamed.

Thaiday should've been sent to the bin. No surprise he wasn't, and it's no surprise parents won't let their kids play rugby league when they see stuff like that let go. Of course, you then see it copied on suburban fields.

So much crap and niggle went unpunished last night and it always does. f**king officials need to penalise players for that shit after the first time. Not say that it's the last warning after the 3rd time and then give another 5 warnings. All pro sports stamp shit like this out, but League is still stuck in the 70s.

Vunivalu is becoming a grub in his own right.

Let's not gloss over the biggest bitch act of that "Melee", cheyse Blair grabbing a handful of Adam blairs hair.

Always makes me laugh Sammy saw it was Beau and dropped his hands quicker than a priest in confession with a boy. Imagine if Bromwich was in a public toilet and Sammy was 3rd man in, that would have been messy deluxe. The reality is Thaiday is one of the biggest grubs to have played our game. He'll get what's coming one day when he doesn't have the protection of the refs or 12 of his mates.

I caught the replay earlier, unless Thaiday is really Usain Bolt in disguise he didn't race in 20m.

As the replay shows, he was right in the vicinity of where it happened. And after some of the previous antics from Melbourne, I don't blame him for sticking up for his team mate even if it was excessive.

And the push from Vunivalu was completely unnecessary. Boyd was trying to figure out what the penalty was for which he has a right to do as captain. It wasn't a quick tap either, so really he had no excuse.

Cant agree with this. Running at players and shoulders has always been a part of the game but thumb twists are not and never have been. Its more like eye gouging someone who you know had eye surgery.
Players hands come in contact all the time these days it's a very long stretch comparing it to gouging a surgically repaired eye.

The fact that he pushed him square in the back. The bloke didnt even see it coming, thats the dog part of it, not the fact that he was upset about Boyd's treatment

Absolutely and I get that.

But I'd rather see a player stand up for their captain than just stand around like nothing's wrong and let the opposition walk all over them.

We need to apply some common sense when working with Thaiday.

If we suspend him for every dog act he'd never play.

I say unless he spills blood its all okay
