Hi guys.Quins fan from uk here.. I wonder if anyone can give me some infro on a rumour going round over here in London, that we have make any offer or have signed anthony cherrington. If the rumours are true, whats he like as a player and his best postion.

I know hes been out all season injuired so will the quins be getting a bit of crock (as we have had a habit of doing this in the past )

I know hes had a bit of trouble in the past so dont know if this will affect his visa.

Cheers guys

Didn't he say he wanted to stay here for life and repay the club standing by him last year? He's a very good player and will be a massive loss if he leaves.

He is a very talented young 2nd rower

However he was up on charges of a violent domestic nature and got 150 hours community service.

He has signed on loan to the Quins for 12 months. I wish him all the best. He's the rarest of players..... a Roosters junior!

Really? Hmm. Well I hope it's a productive year for him and hopefully he comes back as a better player. Also, good luck to the Quins, looks like they could use a boost judging by the ladder

According to Wiki, he is anyway.

That's the word from the Chookpen, 1 yr loan.

If true I guess it isn't the worst thing since itll give him a year to get over his injury and we have alot of backrowers already

It will be good for him. He will be out of the Sydney media's scrutiny, he can work on his game under some good coaches and play regular footy. The other nice thing is that he gets to experience another culture, which hopefully makes him a more well rounded person.

Yes, rather than pulling a knife on someone he can learn how to glass them instead.

If he gets a trial with Goven United he can learn how to headbutt people too!

(I know, poor taste)

Haven't heard anything other than rumours still. Odd.

Gibbsy and Brandy on 2UE followed up with the club in response to the rumour and reported the club told them Cherrington is not going anywhere. Does anyone really think he would get a UK visa after being charged with assault?

I cant believe the info on Wiki was incorrect

How can I ever trust anything I read on the internet ever again

I once read on Wiki that Danny Weidler was a f**king dribbler pretending to be a sports journalist and was one of the most hated people in Rugby League. Ever since that day I've trusted in implicitly.

People who went to the fan day said that he is ready and raring to go for the new year with the ROOSTERS!
