Any Londoners going along to the Stoop to watch the Quins play Wigan on Saturday?

Im thinking of heading along, but can't get any of my non-League state Aussie friends to come along.

Any hints on where is the best place to sit? (East or West Stands?)

I wont be at the game this weekend, but I'd say go for the cheapest seat!

But if you're living in London and fancy a game of RL then give me a shout. We are setting up a new team in the west/central london area. Hoping to play in the local comp this summer and need more players. We have a couple of aussies and a PNGean already, some londoners and a couple of northerners. A wide variety of experience levels too.

PM me here if you're interested.
Cheers.

I'm going. Similar problem at the moment. Pm me your mobile and maybe we can meet up.

I'll be going for the east stand cos it's cheaper.

Are you looking at entering the Summer Conference nad or sticking with the London area leagues?

The London league. It's the only way to go about it tbh. There's no point rushing in and laying all sorts of plans only for them to fall apart, so we decided to take it easy and see how things go. The merit league is a great place to start because you control your own level of participation, you can play three games or a dozen for example, so newcomers are eased in instead of being thrown in against seasoned players.

We've got such a wide range of players that one or two have never even held a rugby ball before. For these guys (and those, like me, who haven't played since school) it's a great way to get into/back into the sport.
