I doubt that we will see any from now on. We closed our signings already for next year, though I sure we will jump at any good offers out there.

Sorry to hear that Nages. About life in general or just the crappy year that the Sharkies had in season 2003?

If it's the latter, we will come good and, to put it into context, there were three teams worse than us during the season. Imagine how the poor Souths' supporters must feel! Vagana showed his class on the weekend and I'm confident that the new signings will pave the way for a good year in 2004.

If it is about life in general, there's a nice little ditty that Eric Idle sings at the end of "Life of Brian" that's worth remembering. Keep on smiling, it may not make you feel any better, but it will sure make all your friends wonder what the hell you've been up to (that's not from the movie, that's just a little cheer up from me).

Just the Sharkies in general, but thanks for the thought. Perspective's a wonderful thing and I need to get some!

Thanks again, though. Much appreciated.

"When you're chewin on life's gristle, larff give a whistle.

and remember the last laugh is on you."

Yes a dose of healthy cynicism is helpful in these times of bitterness and division.

Sludge will be looking for a couple of bargains in the Union world cup. May not find any, but he told me he's on the lookout.

I hope the Irish center O'Driscoll is one of them. He's got League center written all over him.

Some of those Namibian forwards would be good
And after watching Scotland play on saturday night, I hope sludge has changed his mind on buying any of them.

O'Driscoll is awesome. But I highly doubt we could get him unless we had LG throw money at him to be a spokes person in Ireland and Australia for them ;)

The Chooks will probably sign him (and they'll still be under the salary cap). I think we should just sign up their accountant.
