I'm not single, but if I were, personality is just about the most important thing for me when choosing a prospective partner. Physical looks are semi important - I wouldnt want to be with someone who repulsed me - but don't make out all blokes are absolute f**king morons who are only interested in looks. Looks fade and then what are you left with?

To clear things up, I think, and its been proven over and over, that personality to women is number one. It includes your confidence, your ambitions, if you are funny to her, how much in control you are, how safe it makes her feel, your presence, your means, etc. All the non-visual things.
looks are pretty low. I know some chicks say a guy has to have muscles and great looks, but these are merely toppings. Body language is very important too. No use being a muscle guy is you stand like a princess and move like a skittish animal.
I should add, that the problem for women is that the above things are easily faked. Where women can not fake a man's number one (looks) men can easily fake women's number one (personality)....and guys, this is why a women needs to test the men she meets. Its subversive, but thats women - indirect. In time you come to appreciate it.
