Cappy has been quoted as saying that the roster for 2016 is full. So anything is possible.
But I can't see anything available that we are desperate for.

I say "No" Even though we could do with another Prop or 5/8 with class. We have a good squad. Strongest it's ever been. Fans will be crazy not to go to the Nines with the superstars we have.

Dang it, my bad guys.
Link seemed to work earlier on today.

Prop yes, even though we have Bull and Matulino, this year will be quite testing for Gubb, Lisone and Vete.

5/8 No thanks, Robson, Leuluai and Lino on books. Can't see a need for another 5/8th.

Potentially someone who could cover fullback, if RTS goes down injured - who do we put in there? Fusitua?

Sami Sauiluma is the only guy on that list that interests me for the Warriors, even then it's not much of an interest... Tim Robinson/Sam Anderson/Danny Fualalo/Magnus Stromquist (not on that list as not signed to an NRL club last year - was at Wyong - but a still promising young prop) do also (in a general sense rather than specific to the Warriors), but if we sign a forward it should be a high level NRL guy, not a developing guy - we have LOADS of those, really good prospects too.

And I think Sauiluma might have signed for the Titans anyway, so looks like he's off the table.

We missed the boat mid-season on Charly Runciman getting a release from the Dragons tbh..

Aaron Whitchurch is a decent centre/second rower in the QLD Cup. Strong defensively.

I don't really see him as someone we need, but he's not a bad player.

Aside from that it's fairly meh.

I saw that the Warriors had Kata as a FB back up, That is interesting. Wells and Wright will be in the mix as well I guess.

Or maybe the guy who did a great job as backup fullback last year, Lolohea? ;-)

Just read some throwaway bit on a foxsports article talking about Paterika Vaivai as "Former Newcastle forward" touring English clubs for a contract. I'd take him, even though it's against what I said earlier RE developing forwards - he could potentially make an impact immediately. Was making 9.7 metres/run last year with a >90% effective tackle rate, averaging about 1 error per 90 minutes and just under 6 tackle breaks/offloads per 80 mins. Hitting all the indicators of a potential monster forward - for reference, Vete comes off worse than him in all of the above indicators, though there are potential mitigating factors (it was close in most of them, Vete averaged - and totalled - more minutes, Vete is a year younger etc).

NFI what Newcastle are thinking, he looked like one of their brightest prospects...

He was released last year after being involved in a brawl and assualting acop. So that's what they're thinking
