Channel 9 Melbourne giving the Storm a decent Shake?

What's next? An innovative Marketing campaign from the NRL? The NRL actually fighting for TV exposure in the Southern States?

I know, we're boned :(

No it was live on the Sunday. Very surprised it is so low. Even the womens soccer drew more???? Having said that it was double the RU NZ game so not all bad!

Having said that it was a lovely day on Sunday so many people would have been out and about during the afternoon. Wonder how many did what I did and watched in later on Fox?

wow, it was shown in perth live and the game attacted the same amount as would late at night.
i'm shocked and dissappointed with this result and a real kick in the guts of were we are rugby league is at in perth.
this shows how much work has to be done or why the arl and nrl just keep ignoring perth because its just not worth it.
hopefully with inclusion into JBC next year this will start to build some sort of supporter base in perth then we go from there i suppose

Why do people still care about these TV ratings? They arent even close to being accurate or credible.

I dont know anyone who has ever known anyone who has one of the channel recorders and when you ask people they always say the same thing, so obviously it's a minute percentage and then they just multiply it by a massive amount. Hence why the figures in Perth look the same - there is no way they would have been that low, it's just the same 200 people who dont watch it in Perth still arent watching it in Perth.

Why would folk in Perth watch in large numbers anyway? They have no NRL team and no real exposure to ..... or interest in...RL.

The test or more true indicator for Perth will be this Sunday when the NRL Grand Final goes live into Perth from 5:15pm onwards.

It will least give a more accurate indicator on the type of people who will watch League in Perth.
