This is what I believe too.

Maia is a contender in this division. He is so strong, big and has the skills to beat anyone in this weight class I think.

When you think of all the contenders in thw WW division, it is pretty much dominated by wrestlers. Fitch, Koscheck, Hendricks, GSP is an unreal wrestler...most of them have other skills as well like Hendricks and his left hand bomb, but wrestlers are really no worry for Maia.
He is ridiculously dangerous anywhere on the ground and considering he is a monster in this division, makes him very dangerous.

Still think GSP would handle Maia no worries. Maia stand up is still no where near good enough to threaten. Someone with range and top level striking would handle him. Condit and Diaz are 2 match ups I'd love to see Maia take on. Absolutely intriguing Class now Maia has shown he's not messing around.

Was anyone else surprised at the way he just dragged Fitch to the ground.

The problem with Maia is how hit and miss he is. If they put him against someone below Fitch he'll probably get submitted or something stupid haha

Pretty upset about the Reem and Evans results as it makes the title pictures a bit more...boring.

Silva won't fight Weidman and I don't think anyone is excited for Cain V JDS 3 yet. Would of loved to see JDS V Reem as a title shot fight.

JDS would finish him in the 1st.

That was one of those moments where your stomach drops, you saw how f**ked up that kid was after that knockout... really horrible to see.

I can only think of another 3 times I have been that frightened by a knockout - Bisping being KOd by Hendo, Etim being KOd by Barboza, and a preliminary fight on another TUF (I think it was Forrest vs Rampage). The fact that you can hear the laboured breathing in the TUF fights makes it more horrifying IMO.

I am really loving this season, they have breathed so much life into the format just by cutting out the testosterone pumped up bullshit and making it more serious.

Production values are through the roof, I have to watch it in HD every week because it's so damn appealing visually.

Yeah I haven't watched TUF for a few seasons, but ever since FX took over the production values have really gone up. And that KO was insane

So far away though... Plus I really want to see him beat Bendo.

any coincidence that the UFC's major sponsor Harley Davidson is celebrating its 110th birthday on august 7th this year... at Harley Davidson HQ in Milwaukee... which just so happens to be Anthony Pettis' hometown??

Blackzilian camp needs to change something... Most of their fighters are coming out looking arrogant, unprepared and out of fitness.

Yep Rashad was very disappointing. As if he hasn't trained in a few months. Alistair Overeem wasn't disappointing. He was forced to fight clean and obviously cannot compete as a clean fighter .

So Rashad was disappointing but Alistar wasn't? GTFO.

For the record, I'd take Alistar is a rematch against Bigfoot any day of the week.

Very disappointing if Josh Barnett doesn't end up in the UFC.

Top 5 heavyweight.

Clearly taking the piss you gimp. He was a disappointment if u were expecting him to do what he said he would do. Looked past Bigfoot and treated him with utter disdain and disrespect. Why should he get a rematch? Bigfoot should be in title contention and Overeem should have to fight at least twice more before a title shot.

Overeem thinks he is a top contender and that is his problem...zero respect for anyone who stands on the opposite side of the cage...sooner or later someone will get their hands on you and in the UFC HW division, I am yet to see someone unable to finish at any stage.

The way he continually changes camps is a clear indication that his ego is his main problem. He may be a decent fighter but hes basically a knob.

If you get a chance watch UFC Primetime Rousey vs Carmouche - gives a good insight into Rousey especially, was a good watch.

About to watch Bellator from last night, hope it was a good card

1. Were you surprised at all that Dan Henderson said he'd be willing to fight you, and would it be unsettling/disconcerting to fight a friend and former training partner or just business as usual?
Perhaps "Hendo" is forgetting all the years of me destroying him in the practice-room. Or, perhaps, I am remembering events that never occurred to bolster my fragile ego, reverse-engineer the past, and provide you with the kind of clever, snide, answer that journalists like you have come to expect from me. It's one or the other. I'll get back to you.

2. Do you think the current ranking system the UFC has taken up should be tossed out and re-tooled or just tossed out entirely?
I reject the premise of your question. Don't present me with a simplistic "either/or" proposal; it represents a basic logical fallacy, it excludes all lines of "thought" other than the 2 you propose, it is amateurish and clumsy. With that said, any system requires time for data accumulation, and review, before its merits can be gauged. Give it time to mature. Like I'm trying to give YOU, sister.

3. During the filming of TUF, did Jones do anything at all that managed to get under your skin?
Yes. He did something to absolutely infuriate me. It rankles me to this very minute. I forget what it was.

4. Now that it's been made clear who the 'killer' on the show is that Dana was talking about, did you immediately start having more concerns for the guys that would have to face him?
Jerry Lee Lewis was "The Killer"; until O.J. Simpson came along and started decapitating his way to a share of the nickname. And neither of them was on the show.

5. What were you thinking when you saw that Cella knockout?
"I wonder how the Judges are gonna have this one...."

6. Uriah Hall gave you glowing praise as a coach and stated that he was so glad you picked him for your team. Would it ever interest you head up an elite fight camp full time, or is broadcasting the way you're inclined, for your post fight career?
I would prefer to head up a mediocre team of scruffy never-do-wells who come together and win the big tournament with the help of a "wise-crackin' "urban" type", a "spunky girl who nobody gave a chance", and a "skinny nerd w/glasses from the Upper East Side who has to save the team with heroics borne of an inner courage he never knew he possesed". Then we can sell the story to Disney and I can buy a houseboat and a few fishin' poles, and me, Jones, Hendo, Anderson, and everybody else I am gonna destroy in the next few years can all go fishing together and avoid questions like this and people like you.

7. If you were to select one positive trait about Jon Jones, which one comes to mind first?
He loves his family, and he treats his team with respect. But he's still gettin' a "Dirty Jersey" ass-whuppin' in April.

8. Do you have any unrealized goals outside of MMA that you'd like to accomplish?
No. When I am done w/MMA, my life ends, and I ascend to Valhalla. Idiot.

9. As popular as you are, one would imagine that you have some crazy fans. Do you have a 'crazy fan' story that sticks out in your mind?
Had one fan that acted really weird. Returned it, had air-conditioners installed. Problem solved.

10. Tell me something about yourself that nobody knows.
If you are who I think you are, I may have....."dated" your Mom.

 thought this was great. Makes Chael sound a bit douchey, but I still thought it was funny.
