Anyone here with UK amatuer club contacts?

Hey there folks,

I;m looking to head to the UK next year and want to play some footy whilst I'm there. can anyone give me the dates the seasons run for your amatuer clubs?

i mean i would play in the Superleague, but it would hardly be fair for one club to have me and teh rest miss out

any info appreciated!

Depends when you are coming over. Most Clubs still play in our Winter, seasons stretch from August to April time, or if you are here in our Summer, you are looking at the Conference Clubs, so you can technically play all year round.

Depending on what Standard you are looking at and where you will be staying, you will have plenty of Choice, and also, despite RU Propoganda, you will find a Team ANYWHERE in the UK, not just the North of England, but ANYWHERE!!!!

If you let us know where you might be staying, i will find you the nearest Clubs and Contacts.

From a purely Biased point of view, i recomend the Heavywoolen Area, right near the Birthplace of the Game in Huddersfield.

There are five Hull clubs in the National Conference Brendo so if you're up to that standard then you'd have a good choice of clubs. A tip though if you want a good club atmosphere is avoid West Hull. One of the guys at work plays for them and he said he's never known a club like it for NOT fostering team spirit. Just check out the BARLA website for club locations. If you really want to see your beloved Sky Blues then a club in the Northwest is the answer.
