Anyone in Melbourne play for a local club??

I've been down here 9months n would like to play for a club.. I live in Carlton n would like to know if anyone plays for one of the local clubs, I am keen to join

I live in Sydney so cant really help you but here is a list of Clubs in the VRL.

I know the clubs, I just wanted to know if anyone on here actually played and it seems like no one does...

So 98 teams across 14 or so clubs.

Anyone know how many registered players this translates to? I know a couple of years ago they had 35k participants in their schools program (similar to AFL's Auskick) and 1,500 registered weekend players.

Anyone know what the exoected numbers are for 2011?
