When you take a look at his performance in State of Origin 1, 2001, I can see what he's trying to say (especially that try he scored towards the end of the first half). 7 years later, that has become nothing but a distant memory. Piling on the pounds hasn't helped his cause. He, John Doyle and John Buttigieg were on fire back in those days.

Can't stand the Macho Man Carl Webb. If he's not in the papers talking about how tough he is or how he wants to fight someone, he's on the field doing one or two standout things a game and then goes missing for the other 70 odd minutes.

Considering his size, power, and speed for such a big man, he's the perfect example of a rugb league Myth. Huge potential that will never be fufilled.
