you can get there quicker by walking accross the arena, come on I dare you to..
Sounds like you're in charge of the snipers.

no worries - if there's anything else you need to know, give me a yell :thumnWell done Sherlock.
I think it is a little disappointing that the players were not available after the game last week. Indeed if there was ever an event to celebrate with the fans, surely it was this one. A sunday afternoon, in an area that is "Members Only" you could even set up a membership stall at the foot of the stairs, to sell some of those new $40 memberships.
But the club management knows best i guess.
I am quite sure all you need to be is a Blue and Gold army member last year to get access, so I would have thought the same, but I didn't get a look at the game day credentials sheets to verify
In saying that I was also disappointed at the ANZ gold members bar, in that the cafe section was closed almost as soon as the whistle went, if not before, that area is supposed to be open for another 30 minutes for members to sit down and relax and talk about the game while the vast majority of fans leave the stadium.
I know it worked a treat at the Warratahs this weekend. Hell we even had a 2 man band playing in the members cafe for an hour or more after that game offically finished. Having said that I lost all interest in the game about 15 minutes in.

the lack of post match functions used to upset people......

Still does tbh!
the club have an amazing opportunity to use the North West terrace for an after match function and it appears have dropped the ball on both occasions.
there, i said it and stand by it..
i'll agree
(just to be part of the "in" crowd)
Are you Commisioner Gordon?
Suity
why would we be mugs, I would think the person doing marketing would be the only mug.in saying that, we may well be made to look like mugs if they have plans for a function this friday night and have not yet told us..
I like PG's idea of having 5-6 players.
Do one after each game and rotate the players.
I reckon you'll get decent turnouts - escpecially on 5.30 saturday and sunday games. 7.30 kick offs might rule out kids.
Either that, or you just do one or two a year and everyone fronts up and you cant move

come to think of it, they kept the bbq a secret until the last minute, good way to keep the numbers down, don't tell anyone it's on .:sarcasm:
I could be wrong but it seemed that from the very few times I've attended Red V functions that the South Coast based players or Illawarra juniors (Creagh, Cooper etc) would attend the WIN Stadium functions and the Saints juniors or purchases (Young, Gasnier, Ennis at the time etc) would do the Jubilee ones. It could work if they have half the roster do ANZ and the other half do the post match functions at Parra Leagues.
Pretty sure people would be happy to at least have a few players mingling than none at all! It does seem like a waste.
