ANZ Stadium - Never again

What an awful day. Literally took me 3 hours to get to the ground. Massive traffic due to that f**king Easter Show. No parking available anywhere. We had to park at Rhodes Shopping Centre and get a taxi.

When we got there we were in so called Category 1 and the view was shit. Without doubt the worst ground to watch League on. From this day on until we play a GF there I will never return to that shit facility again.

Combined with our woeful record there it was so frustrating, literally felt like screaming out loud.

I hate ANZ Stadium.

I don't hate watching games there - though its not good for wet weather since alot of the stadium is uncovered

I didn't go today - not a fan of big crowds (unless its semi finals or something) - and yeah the easter show would have made it a bitch .... I usually park on the other side of parramatta rd and walk over - which is about 20 min walk ... but thats probably not an option when the show is on cos heaps of people would park there

if I go when there is a big crowd I'd catch public transport ..... which can be a real f**kin shit itself - cos the bus to the south miranda/wollooware leaves from the far (west) side of the stadium and has to spend 1.5 hrs just driving through stadium traffic to get across to parramatta rd - its f**king stupid, they could have it leave from the east side and it'd be out in no time ... so that means train is better - but again in to central/redfern and change to come south, so its a bit of a trip

Worst ground ever! Didn't Sharpy say he will bring back all games to Parra? I'm sure it was one of his election pledges.

Dont blame you, I live a few hrs away and have never seen them win at anz. I dont go to anz anymore unless its important as of this year, my only positive memory going to anz is 2009 grand final and thats clutching at straws. Nice stadium but horrible for eels fans

I enjoy it. Park smarter and it aint as bad. You can park and walk in a number of places.

Getting wet is horrible. But same problem at Pirtek (same % of ground covered). Love the capacity, but if we had a 35k stadium, i would be happy not to move any games.

At pirtek the family tickets I have we sit all
Together. At ANZ we are split up at either end of a row. It's freakn joke. Club tells ME they can't do anything about it.

A full anz is a pretty good experience and the stadium looks pretty but if we stop going during regular games maybe they will wake up. Even brad arthur said in pc that he would prefer pirtek

Yep my seats at Pirtek are in the dry. At ANZ I get a wet arse.

Shithole with no atmosphere.

Seats are squishy too.

I'm getting sick of heading out to ANZ too. Might be because i love Parra so much and it's convinient for me. Might watch the next ANZ game at PL.

I don't go to ANZ despite my season tickets

Don't see why I should pay $20 parking and spend an hour getting out of the car park, or similarly wait for trains etc when I can drive and park and walk to Parra Stadium. You also sit in areas where you don't get a decent view, at Parra you feel part of the game almost anywhere you sit

Anyway, need to wait until the contact expires and see what the club does, it's financially very attractive but still s crap place to watch footy

It's not about the fans.

It's not about winning.

It's not about the competition points.

It's not about making the finals.

It's $100K guaranteed.

Haven't you walked into the club and seen the core value up on the wall?

"$100k. Guaranteed"

That's it. Once you realise that you will realise that nothing else matters.

You don't need a home ground when you have values like this.

We give away 4 competition points by taking 2 home games a year there, what's a bet we miss the 8 by 2 or 4 pts

Someone should tell Larissa that there is a boycott building.

It's the same reason the Green Bay Packers are f**ked.

Everyone knows you need to follow what other people do to succeed.

Imagine if the Packers hadn't moved to a major city and persisted in playing out of a small town in north Wisconsin.
