Team more or less picks itself I imagine, assuming RTS is out and no returns from injury. Pretty much the team we had out there for most of the game (Lolohea fullback, TL in the halves), with Tevaga coming onto the bench and I'd go one unforced change; Vete in for Gubb.

Really want Tui, in the halves not fullback but may have no choice

Also don't want Wright out there. His partnership with Kata is poor and lead to many defensive errors. Love Kata but he needs a better wingman until Manu returns.

Ligi, following his injury, must have more time on the park OR he needs to get his fitness back in Reserve grade. Can't afford to carry someone who may only play 15mins. Just like Cappy's use of Konnie. Either have him out there for extended periods or just don't have him in the side.

And FFS please give Ali a run sooner rather than later!!!!

I don't expect he'll be there week in week out but early in the season with a tight competition table? Come on already!! For the sake of all Warriors fans with long memories, he deserves a run!!!!!

Yep. Gubb really isn't offering much at the moment. Sao I thought showed enough that he deserves to be there as well.

i like gubb to but last night during his wild tackling technique he came across a prop (Graham) who beat him with footwork about the first 4 times. this week its bromwich who has the footwork. id have Vete come in

Surely we need Hurrell in reserves in case a back goes down? He's really dropped away as far as selection goes, ay? Who would've thought that with two first choice backs injured Konnie wouldn't be next man in.

i know what ur saying but playing Hurrell for 15-20 minutes a game isnt helping him or the team. either play him the whole game at centre or dont play him at all. and at the moment you cand drop Kata or Ayshford

From what I saw yesterday, Packer would have to be considered...

For the test...

Hard to go past your team R&S.

Well I hope our wingers and fullback, in the spirit of Anzac Day, are practicing their drills under the bomb.

It's a long wait till next Monday but I'm already seeing a lot of Cronk targeting our flanks under the high ball. Ruthless, clinical bastard, he is.

Assuming RTS and Manu still out (they take their places if fit of course)

Lolohea (playing #6 on attack)
Wright
Kata
Ayshford
Fusitua
Leuluai
Johnson

Lisone
Luke
Matulino
Thompson
Hoffman
Mannering

lillyman
Sao
Vete
Tavenga

Tavenga to spell Leuluai and Luke if needed. Run big guys up the middle third all day and have Luke, Lolo and SJ snipe around all day behind them looking for offloads and second phase. The Storm always have trouble with us when we do that.

I'll be flying down to Melbourne for the weekend for this one so I'm hoping for a big effort from the boys. Win this one and beat the (yes, very beatable) Dragons the following week and the season is well and truly back on the rails. (and of course lose them and it's back in the toilet)

Happy enough with this team.
I'm done with Gubb. He's not the way of the future. Last night he was a liability.
Vete in for sure. No sign of Sipley entering the fray yet? I thought he was the next big thing on the prop front based on last years comments about him. Hows he doing in NSW cup?
