It's a bugbear of mine..

If Hunt had said "I want to play for Australia", I would have been fine. Instead he said "I want to play for QLD..."

He chose a SOO jersey over a Test jersey.

It sh*ts me..

I hate him with a passion...but let's not open this old wound.

So enough of Hunt.

Have here been any idea of tix sales? Pax numbers?

Are we headed for a disaster.

All I'm hearing in mention of the Test is if someone has injured themselves...

F*#@ you ARL, why are you people so inept at running this sport?

I see on the ticket web site that the cheapest seats are all gone and the cat3 section only has single seats

Still seems to be plenty of good seats if you want to pay more

hate the timing of this event. i wish it was after the origin series, and the kiwis played 3 tests in the same weeks as origin. that way we could build into it, and there would be no worries about playing an aussie team coming off origin as the kiwis would have had 3 games together.

there has been absolutely no promotion here in sydney for the test. but then again, there really hasnt been much for the nrl at all.

i wish it was on Anzac Day itself. 4pm kickoff would be great. I reckon it'd be a full house, it'd get great ratings, and the players wouldn't have to play another game 20 hours later.

Hopefully they do. Because if the turnout is poor, they've basically trashed every excuse in the book and would look mighty hypocritical using them!

Well Brisbane and Newcastle drew bigger crowds than Sydney have. Hence why I was disappointed when Newcastle didn't get a Tri-Nations match last year

Anyone notice the article in the Sunday Telegraph suggesting that Suncorp will be getting the rights to host the World Cup final in 2008 for league. Supposed to be announced sometime in the next two weeks. So those Qld'ers better f*ken show up.

Any update...

I'm getting nervous...

Usually you'll see a story in the papaer and it'll say "Officials are expecting a crowd of...."

Not of that this year....

In an article in the Courier Mail on the weekend, an article about something else entirely, they mentioned that a bit over 20,000 tickets had been sold to the Anzac game and they were predicting (hoping) that more would be sold after the teams were announced on sunday.

Sorry, don't have a link and obviously my memory isn't great for detail.
