My first thoughts were Franz Ferdinand vs The Streets. I rate them, but I also liked Franz and Bloc Party.

Some of the lyrics are gold though, especially the little nods to songs of the past.
"He told Roxanne to put on her red light" and
"Your name isn't Rio but I don't care for sand..."

I thought their lyrics were a bit Streets-esque...just not as good
