A lot depends on who we let go from 30 and who we are looking at as DP players.
Ford should join the 30.
Blacker impact has been good but he needs to do it for longer, Need more games to judge him but at this stage still a DP
Saab is ahead of progress and is a chance of 30 but i think the club wont rush him. He is still filling out his body. Grew 2 inches in the off season has put on 4 kg but still needs to fill out. Going to be a solid boy.
Lovodua has a chance because of his utility value but I think atm he is too big for dummy half and not big enough for a FG back rower. Still has speed off the mark. Hard to believe he was our 20s half 2 years ago.
Lomax is hard to make a call on out injured half of last year and been out all this year. Club is looking to make him a dummy half. Should be back next week, needs a big back half of year.
Masters is a worry has not stepped up and I would think close to missing out.
Next DP in line would be Sauni-Esau and Ty Wishart. both cant play Flegg next year
Club is also looking at some of the SG boys but they can be signed to 20s first.
Edit May be unpopular call but I think unless Sailor is going to play in the halfs he should be let go.
I think Ford will for sure, Lovodua I think will due to his, as you say, utility value especially if the rumour surrounding Robson is true, he would be a handy back-up to McInnes.
Agree about SSE and Wishart, but we have to make room as we are now at max 6 and with some promising juniors coming through we can't block that avenue. As for Sailor, he is small and would have to fill out to be a first grader, he has good pace but, like Dufty is neither a fullback or other backline position other than in the halves and we have better coming through.
