The Melbourne storm are the yardstick for what the NRL believes perfect should look like.

They are also the exact opposite of a rugby league team and an affront to god himself. A malignant tumour rotting the sport from the top down.

The real issue is they have f**king ruined the game for over a decade. The f**king wrestle they invented has put more focus on the ruck than open running league. Shit the extent they have taken it has meant rules have had to be made to stop them pulling players shoulders out or crushing their necks in an effort to slow down the game. Then there's the fact they ruined half a decade of the comp with systematic rorting of the salary cap.

They are a great NRL team but an average Rugby League one.

They are also loads more entertaining in the regualar season. They just take it to the next level in the big games.

They are 2nd most boring of the current 16 teams behind the Dragons. I was really hoping for a Raiders v Sharks GF. The viking clap by the Raiders fans and the response of the Sharks' faithful would have created a magical atmosphere.
