Are the Melbourne storm the most boring team in the history of RL ?

I think they can great to watch in attack but how they aren't penalized 20+ times every game for holding down I'll never know.

After the first penalty they got I watched them and their "clever" tactics in the ruck bought them at least an extra second on so many occasions its not funny. For instance if you come into the tackle after it is complete you get penalised straight away (their first penalty), but if you are involved in the tackle (some 3 or 4th guy just hanging onto a leg) you can manipulate on the ground for an eternity and even sort of re-engage after the tackle is completed.

Call it boring but they've beaten the most exciting team in the comp and made the Grand Final. Results are all that matter at the end of the day.

True and it has been that way for 8 or 10 years. For the sake of the game lets make some rule changes so that the better football wins (Canberra played way better football tonight - even Bellamy would admit that). Melbourne's success with this method is killing the game.

They dont just wait for a penalty or the other teams line to collapse, they create their own opportunities. They dont just throw it around and hope for the best, they seem to know what they want to do with every play...

Don't use the word "create" when talking about Storm.

They have buried their instincts to serve up this rubbish.

But they advance to the grand final, unless you're Wests Tigers you don't win the big one unless you employ some of these tactics.

The most boring thing about the Storm is the people whining and moaning about how they don't play the game properly.

Slowing down the play the ball gets an advantage to your team, why would you not try and do that? But if you think Bellamy sits around at home thinking up cool new wrestling moves I think your obsession has gone to far.

If another team came up with tactic that negated the wrestle then the storm would stop winning and everyone could copy someone else.
