every year penrith seem to pull talented juniors our of their arse. its hard to see them not having a gun team in the next few years.

Exactly. We just have to keep them. With the release of Gower, the minor movements in the player market, and not bothering to re-sign Clinton and Wallace... we *should* be fine for keeping the future stars.

At any rate, we have too much talent coming through to be at the bottom for too long. In 2002 we were in a similar position to now, and just a few juniors and our current guys finding form had us take out a minor premiership and win the grand final. Unlikely to happen again. But it's possible.
