Gimme a break, the guy was... what??? 16 years old when Pure Massacre was released? It's no surprised that he is a little messed up, it's a bloody miracle that he is still alive.

If you dont like Johns or Silverchair I suggest you "reverse digest" a Cold Chisel CD.

[I reckon Diorama was awesome, I'd hardly say it was happy music. Look at the lyrics of You're My Favourite Thing. I respect Johns for being a vegan, I would like to be but the only food I like is meat.
I was referring more to this Dissociatives sh*t

Oh yea I saw the clip the other day. Not really my thing either. Most new music sux anyway. I've only bought 2 cds this year, Incubus and OpShop (NZ band). OpShop is cool, Incubus is ok but nothing special. I pretty much get old cds now.

blah blah bullsh*t blah
The first three albums they were good Nirvana impersonators. With Neon Ballroom they became a very good, mature band. Diorama is one of the best Aussie albums of the last few years imo. Savage Garden my milky white ass.

I always loved Silverchair but would never admit it in fear of being laughed at by my peers!

Neon Ballroom was awesome. I love all that emo stuff. Lots of people became disenchanted when they moved away from a 'grunge' sound but as Godz Illa said it was them maturing as a band.

Favourite song of theres was probably petrol & chlorine from Neon Ballroom. I've must of listened to that to a million times!

Dissociatives are cool. Did anyone buy that other album that Paul Mac and Daniel Johns bought out, 'I can't believe its not rock'? was good stuff as well.

Tuna in the Brine, Favourite Thing, After All These Years and Luv Ur Life (stupid spelling) all rule. I think 1-11 its probably my favourite album, most every CD has a song to skip but the only one vaguely like that on Diorama is The Greatest View. But I still listen to it. It would be in my top 5 cds

Are you a Linkin Park fan?? Diorama is waaaay different from Savage Garden. Its more like rock with all sorts of flavours added in.

What sort of music are you pair into then?? I guess I like Silverchair because some of their songs are throwbacks to Queen, with their changing styles. But they're not at all similar in sound. I can hardly see how this album sold out when the singles off it got virtually no play over here.

Their first three albums up to Neon ballroom are awesome. Anything else I don't listen to but they do have a couple of good songs off Diorama.

Everyone was a Nirvana impersonator back then God Zilla,

Ive hated Johns since they did that 4th album Diorama, he's too posh now, in fact he's turned all weird. I remember in 1997 when he was being interviewed, he was like 18 and had that sort of garage rock attitude. Which was cool.

The first album was the best, but the others werent as good.
