Our defence is back I think (other than Inus misread in defence)

Attack is getting there, we are gelling nicely now, offloads and 2nd phase play will kill other sides

Moritimer was very hesitant and nervous in the 1st half, Nice cat like hit on him by Burgess, but Morts improved in the 2nd half. Nice to see Timana get his trademark smash hit on Burgess as paypack

btw lol @ Rhys Wesser :lol::lol::lol:

Eels aren't back yet by a long shot, but they are certainly heading in the right direction. For the first time this season I saw glimpses of the 2009 rampaging Eels. Having said that.....I can sleep well tonight.

yeh i thought inu looked a bit lost out there,
tahu is doing his best to inspire other players,
i still think haynes touches aren't quality ones ,yet,
i thought our forwards were really good today,
kicking game was improved 110%
i thought robson looked better than matt keating at 9,
burt played his normal game for us, ( sensational)
good to see our fans cheered cayless, mannah and poore when they were subbed.

oh yeh and tahu for nsw no.4,thats all.

we seem to do this every year the first few rounds we are a shambles then we have a game like raiders where defence is improved but we still lose, then like today we jag a win and go on from there

I wont think were back till we put together a full 80min performance. We need to start games good. But the 2nd half was amazing, i agree it was good to give our forwards a cheer when they came off. Are people who were bagging poore starting to think twice?

Not back to the form that saw the dream run to the GF, but the signs are definitly looking better than the last couple of weeks.
Started to get the Souths side scrambling in defence with the offloads, and as a result the halves/hooker had more room to move.

Up against a Cowpats side minus Thurston and Payne and with the form Parramatta showed definitly winnable, however as we know you never know what you are going to get with Parramatta.

Whatever was said to them at Halftime worked. From the moment the second half kicked off, it clicked. Enthusiasm, sharpness in attack, aggression in defence, desperation, offloads, confidence. It all flowed.

A long way to go, but we are heading in the right direction.

We were confident today we were willing to risk the passes where in previous games we seemed a bit reluctant to throw the ball around

Thats it

We lost two games that teams who make the eight will win (Sharks, and Raiders at home) so we need to jag a couple back.

We were fortunate today that Souths stunk and getting the cows minus JT is a huge stroke of luck - we have to capitalize.

We are only back if we can back it up, we only played 40mins today like last year.
Still heaps of improvement left and we are playing the Cowboys up there and they have a few out.

Waking up from the coma at least
Got the Cowboys at a good time as well. Really need to keep momentum going up there if anything is going to happen this year.
Which I now realise has been said alreay. Oh well.

We are not back until we string a few wins together,if we lose to the Cowboys next friday night then that victory over Souths today means absolute jack chit.
