Are we gonna sign Finchy?

After the footy show last night, does anybody else think we are gonna get Finch?

Does anybody know anything about his future?

I think he would be ideal for us.

I'd like to see Teflon make some declaration what he wants to do in the halves before we sign any other player capable of playing there.

WT have Dunley, Lewis (in Balmain), Moltzen, Marshall & Morris capable of playing there- what is point of getting another player if all Teflon will do is play Marshall at 1/2 and Morris at 5/8. IF, and that is a big IF, Morris is going- then what about the others I have just quoted beofewe sign another halve left to wither on the Sheens vine.

i dont care what anybody says, brett finch would be a great addition to our side. he plays his best footy when he isnt the dominating play maker. with farah and marshall doing this he could concentrate on kicking and organising, which is the two things we really lack. you can never question his passion or commitment, he is always first in the kick chase and it would finally be nice to have someone who knows how to kick a field goal.

i would be all over his signing

I'm not at all against signing him- I'm just doubtful as to his actually getting on the field in the first 13 or the 17 man squad under Sheens. I just dont trust Sheens.

Him and Marshall in the halves would be quite good.

Finch has been playing well at Melbourne as a backseatsman to Cronk and Smith, meaning he'd do the same here and play well also. He'd give us that direction that Benji nor Morris can provide.

There's a reason why he has been released by 3 clubs in his playing career.......I wouldn't touch him.

He was good for the Raiders,he was great for the Roosters,he had his moments at Parra and he his going alright down in melbourne, whilst he ain't no superstar he is miles ahead of Morris.

I've never met a supporter of a team that had Finch that now complain that the club let him go.
He's crap.

Finch would be a good signing for any club by season's end. The stuff he's learning from Cronk has made him twice the player he was before joining the Storm.

are we going to sign him? no, because our recruitment is sh*t and couldnt see a good buy if it bit them on the arse, and no because we have too many overrated players on $$$'s they shouldnt be on.

Finch at best has been average for the last 5 years. Parra couldnt wait to get rid of him. Morris would beat him by 20 meters over 100. Wake up and keep giving the young Blokes a go. Finch is THE most OVER RATED player in the NRL by a long way.

If Sheens has any brains in his thick head, He will sign Finchy.
Finchy > Morris , its as simple as that.
However, I heard Finchy is happy to take a massive pay cut to stay with the storm, as he would rather win a grand final than go for money.
Heard this from an article on Foxsports

wake upto urself, if farah didnt make origin this year our squad would of been

6. Morris
7. Marshall
9. Farah

the only reason a young bloke got a go is because of the reshuffle

i guess i dont no what im talking about.... ild like to pose the question to tigers fans... has morris been dropped from the halfs due to lack of form? I no he has because of a reshuffle aka farah to 7, farah to origin, farah injured, and i think he was moved to lock when head was around... not 100% sure on that tho

stuff finch. he would only be a bit better than morris in attack but morris is better in defence so he wouldn't really make our team stronger in the end. did you see ayshford run thru finch like a hot knife thru butter when we scored our last try. we should buy someone like orford or give one of our younger guys a shot in the halves. we havent given dunley a chance. lui will be good when he gets older but not this year. moltzen and benji could have a good combo in the halves. morris isnt fast or creative enough but moltzen has good acceleration and isnt afraid to run at the line. he can pass and has a big boot. defence isnt too bad. signing finch, kelly or tomato will be a waste of money
