Watching last night's game, I thought we battled hard against a side I think should be playing finals football. We went to the wire with them.

No Kaufusi, No Katoa, losing both our 7 and 9. We were no chance. However, we were in it right up until the end. I think what Bennett said was right in that it was a great effort against the odds.

At the beginning of the year, I thought we would finish last, and anything above that would be a bonus. Now I think we will comfortably not finish last. Which I think for a new club is a great result.

The other thing is, we aren't a new club like the titans that are just invented. The Dolphins were an existing team, and we even have an immortal. So, I think, the doom and gloom at the start of the season, wasn't warranted.

We may drop off once the hype dies down towards the end of the year, however I do believe we will exceed expectations, and not be cannon fodder. we will win more games in what will be a successful first season.

Keep picking milford and the losses will start to rack up.

He is garbage and has been for 4+ years now. No improvement, just stagnation. Forwards can run themselves ragged getting into good position but every time a half ruins a chance it kills them a little bit inside.

We had lost our 6 ,7,9,11 and our backup 9..
And it was still there for the taking at 77 mins..
Good side now with our 1, 7 , 6 and 9 improving every game!
Should be playing finals or only just missing out.

I think they showed they're not going to roll over when the going gets tough. They had every excuse to let the Broncos rack up a score and in the end, it came down to a fortuitous bounce to decide the game.

Where it's going to get tough is down the line when the grind begins to settle in and they can't get themselves up for games. Playing infront of 51,000K and a huge TV audience is one thing, how are they going to go in a months time when they play Canberra in Wagga Wagga?

The team has done well to buy in and set a standard, but I expect a flat period and a few games where the calls go the other way, they just don't get out of the sheds or they're just lacking the talent to get them over the line.

I still think there will be plenty of good times ahead and I haven't ruled them out of finals, but I do expect the other shoe to drop.

Great start to the season. Should have no trouble attracting more quality signatures. Who knows how far they go this year with the never-say-die attitude they have. O’Sullivan is a big loss though considering how bad Milford can be. Milford’s lazy defensive efforts the other night cost them dearly against the broncos.

I had them finishing 12th/13th. Probably revise that to 9th/10th which is still a great outcome for year one with the signings made.

What sort of statement is that. They have won 3 out of 4. So you knew they would win the first 3 but then fade after that. Is that right?

I doubt anyone could have predicted they would win their first 3 but what he is basically predicting is that once their depth comes into question they will fall apart and struggle to win.

The fact the bookies have thrown the Dragons up as favourites this weekend is a good indication that he's not far from being wrong.

Its a long season. Injuries, fitness and luck all come into play.

A top 8 finish is a good pass mark for the first year. Build off that and things look a lot more positive.

I would have thought not finishing last was a pass mark.

If they finish top 8, that's off the charts for a new club. I'd be stoked with that.

Depth was always going to be the real test for you guys and losing SOS long term was probably the worst thing that could happen.
