Interesting comment from BA in the presser "if individuals don't fix their discipline, they will be dropped".

This was just after his comment about being offside in the first set against Manly when we kicked it (was it Evans?). I wonder if he is as hesitant to drop merkins as some people on here think.

It was either Evans or Taka. I couldn't tell exactly at the time

As I mentioned in a previous post, he dropped KE for round 1, moved Hayne to fullback and French to wing, and dropped Matagi and King, BA isn't scared to drop players!!

The problem is some posters don't realise that there is no use in dropping a player if there isn't a better option!!

Was anyone else surprised that T-Rex played on the edge?

Yeah but then it was only his 2nd game back so he probably lacked a bit of fitness for the middle. Anyhow did he start in the middle ? Not sure.

Why put Norman at fullback? Norman is a better defender in
the front line, while French can pretty much offer as much in attack at fullback as he would in the halves but with less defence to tire him out. French will be too f**ked making 20 tackles a game in the halves to offer anything decent in attack.

I wouldn't really do that. I'd choose pretty much the same team, barring forced changes for injuries, because that's probably the best we've got. Then I'd look at individual failings and team tactics and try to adjust those.

But I do wonder about French's long term future and speculate about a move to the halves.

We have a game plan and style. It isnt working. We are being starved of possesion and I feel teams have worked out our style.
BA must change things around. At times forwards are making good runs with no one pushing through. We keep going down the spread it on the 4th with the fullback wrap around to create extra men play. Every team has moved on from that as its predictable. Its still our pet play.
We need offloads, inside balls, forwards who pass before the line.

T rex offered a bit of this diversity in attack and something Ram has been banging on about. Scott, Mannah,Alvaro all need to develop a short pass before line or offload. We need 2nd phase play.

Next is hooker. Since Peats left we are yet to adress the problem. There are well over 20 better hookers in the comp. I say 20 cause most teams 2nd options are better then Kaysa and King who are NSW cup standard.

BA may only need to make small changes to get us going. But the time is now.

I did post a while back French may have been an option in the halves before we signed Moses.

Under huge pressure. He nver has faced this before. Balls on the line.
0/6 where would you go with him?

Waiting for Gary and Pou to offer there our luck will change bullshit.
Moses cant tackle so we need 20+ points a game to win. We need to turn our team into the 2003 panthers who would win by scoring 30 points..... Why BA is focussing on a grind when he has built this type of side if beyond me. We need to play some jungle ball.

He sees out his contract. Unless he chooses not to.

For far too long we were a joke for the way we went through coaches, and if you don't reckon it was a leading reason for our two spoons you're an idiot.

BA sees out his contract. We cannot get back into the same reactive bullshit that gutted the club in the first place

The grind won us battles the past two seasons. But those two seasons seem so so so so so so long ago now.

Also name one season where our team got better and better as the year went on under BA.
Where we become consitant and knew we would win. Never. Even last year against Knights who ran last I felt we may lose.
