Christ, the guy can’t win. One game in and he’s being criticised for not working out his best halfback.
AOB would be lucky to last the month if you only had that article to go by.
Compare with:

COWBOYS

Well who saw that Round 1 shellacking coming? A very similar Cowboys side to the one that fell just short of a preliminary final last year got pumped by the Sea Eagles.

They looked nowhere near a finals-bound side and coach Todd Payten wasted no time swinging the axe, dropping Maroons backrower Jeremiah Nanai after just one game.

They’ll play their first home game of the season on Saturday against the Sharks and if we don’t see a response there will be more axings to follow.

Verdict: Payten’s rocket will get them back on track

So one team got absolutely merkined from the opening bell but their great coach will fix it (what’s the pre-season for then?). Another team won but that game - which they won - once again proves their coach isn’t good.

Work that one out. I guess Payten has more mates in the media.

Yeah but I have spies who tell me when Ponga goes to roosters, Knights are gonna have a big play at signing Cleary, and my spies say he is keen.
Yeah, sounds about right. You’d have to assume Ivan and Nathan got into a fist fight given the Boy Wonder couldn’t get the chocolates last night. And of course there is the certainty that Mary Fowler will soon agree to terms for 10 years with the Jets W-League team.

It’s all starting to make sense!

You could see he wasn’t happy on the field. He wants more premierships and the Panthers are dusted.

Hope Kalyn gets through Origin without injury.

…This is a comment about how Walsh has no chance to be QLD number 1.

We look well balanced this year. Like everything is finally falling into place. The simple errors are letting us down but they are very fixable if accountability is upheld.
