Panthers no doubt will have some seriously talented kids coming through, but the results of the player poach fest they have endured are starting to show now. the absence of Cleary and Edwards is showing their vulnerabilities as being much greater than anyone would have predicted. But it is the defensive slide which is the most stunning. You’d think their losses would be scraps where they keep scores low and close.

Jeez Penrith have looked seriously out of sorts to start the year. A few injuries would be part of the problem but some of their errors have been unforgivable. Pencil in our round 12 fixture with them as the game where we play them back into form and they go on a run from there… you heard it here first.
I mean one of the posters in their forum wants to sign Cogger back asap as their backup. That should tell you how cooked they are.

I think I read we’re chipping in 200k, which I think is a great deal for us all things considered.
Yeah we are much better off paying him to stink elsewhere. No argument there.

If only they knew at the time that you should not offer 800 for 40 minutes of uselessness for multiple seasons on end.

It's a shame both Saifitis never really pushed on and became top top players. They had it in them to do it. Hope some of our next crop of youngsters coming though can really become top class. Lucas looks like he has it in him and McEwen (I've seen very little of him) looked special also.

Both Safs have the talent to be top props. Probably not the mentality though. Any professional athlete that thinks vaping is ok is not serious.

McEwan needs to spend all off-season with the tackling coach. Can't get bumped off as easily as he did and stay in a first grade forward pack.

If the Penrith fall off continues as it is currently, it is not entirely beyond reason the Clearys will look to move on. Ivan must be privately pissed at the way his team has been torn apart.
