The comp seems very even this year. Penrith aren’t doing well and even Melbourne have shown there’s a few cracks in their armour. A few teams have risen up and played well enough to win a bunch of games but almost everyone else is inconsistent.

Then of course there’s us, the team that basically can’t get up for any game unless it’s against a reserve grade Souths team. This appears to be a year of upset victories and unexpected results across the comp yet we are consistently able to lose to everyone. Watch us absolutely stink it up against Penrith next week with 5-6 of their best players missing.

To be fair we are going to struggle to put a team out next week too.

I really can't see where our next win comes from. Probability says we don't lose every game for the rest of the year, but theres still a fair chance we might.

Some players just respond to certain type of coaches but not others. Uate for example lost all confidence under Bennett who’s known as a good man manager but thrived under Rick f**king Stone.

Would have been nice to have kept one of the Origin stars like Barnett, Hudson Young or Beau Fermor so we don't have to play Cant every week.

Also, why is our reserve grade side the Canberra Raiders doing so well?

We’ve also somehow managed to do it having the equal 2nd best defence in the comp lmao. That’s quite remarkable and only something the Knights could manage.

Honestly any other year you’d think a team who has defended like we have this year would be in the top 4 but of course we decide to forget how to play with the football.

I’d hate to be in that team right now knowing your defensive patterns are spot on most of the time, but errors and fatigue eventually blunt your attacking ability. It would be very stressful times. And AOB’s look of resignation is understandable, when he knows where we are supposed to be and are nowhere near it.

I reckon the Roosters are still going to be pretty keen to offload Dom back to us. He’s been terrible for them. He looks terrified every time the balls going to him now. Has lost complete confidence since going there.

They’ll offload him as soon as Toia and Angus Crichton are finished with rep duties.
