Last night Hills Sports High made up of mostly year 11 kids, alot of which are Penrith Juniors, beat the might of Endeavour 20-18 in the quarter final stage. Endeavour Sports High have won the tournament 3 years in a row. A remarkable achievement really.

Hill Sports High is captained by 16 year old Penrith Flegg star Wade Graham. Wade has now lead his school to the semi finals, as well as captaining NSW Under 17's to a win and also NSW CHS to the Australian Schoolboys title. Along with leading Penrith's Harold Matthews team to a premiership last season. He definately has the leadership skills to captain Penrith in the future.

Hills now meet Matraville in the semi finals. Where the winner of St Pats Blacktown and St Doms Penrith will play the Queensland champion in the other semi.

Matraville trailed Hunter Sports high till just before halftime and went to the break 12-12 - but they were much bigger and fitter and stormed home in the second half. The halfback scored a triple of simple pushover tries against tired Hunter forwards. Just under 50 to 12 in the end i think.
Not the most skillful side, but big and fit works for them.

Palm Beach Currumbin defeated St Brendan's College 30-6 in the QLD final.

St Doms play St Pats this Friday.

Semi Final 1 : Matraville Sports High vs Hills Sports High
Semi Final 2 : Palm Beach Currumbin vs St. Dominics(Penrith)/Patrician Brothers(Blacktown)

Chance of an all Penrith final, with alot of Hills players being Penrith juniors.

St Pats are up 20-0 at halftime apparently.

The wet conditions is probably costing St Doms as their best player Greg Waddell is a centre, mustn'y be seeing much ball, due to the rain.

Full time I hear was St Pats Blacktown 32 St Doms 18, obviously must be that ST Pats had more Parra players ( just a joke Daz).

Heard from someone who was there, said a reasonably high standard game

Haha, still plenty of good Penrith talent in the St Pats team ;-)

But seriously, 50 points in the wet is a good effort. Of course it was a high standard game, as it showcases the best of Penrith and Parra's juniors:)

Hopefully Hills Sports High won their Semi, very tough against Matraville though. Waiting for a score.

Matraville defeated Hills 38-8 and are now in the final. Hills did very well in their first year, and will be even stronger next year as most of their side are only in year 11 this year.

Grand Final:

Matraville v St Pats/Palm Beach Currumbin

Because Matraville played a semi final last night(they played their quarter final last week i believe). Whereas, St Pats were in a Quarter Final last night.
