I can see you've done a lot of travelling  .
I've been to 17 countries in the past 2 years and the only way I could have done that is to live and work UK.
It sure beat's the hell out of spending 2 weekends in the caravan park at forster for your holidays.
Australia is great, but my point is that there are hundred's of other places out there that are equally as fantastic in completly different ways.
I pitty narrow minded people like you who will never experience this.
Firstly its amazing how many Sharks fans or people from the Shire end up in London and the UK. I was over there last year and have to disagree on you giving a low rating to British League. I know technically its not quite as good as the NRL, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching Leeds. The style of footy was ok, and the atmosphere at Headingly with only 10000 people was better than anything I've experienced at a game in Australia. The only thing that would come close for atmosphere is a couple of finals series games Cronulla have played in. I'd take the South stand at a Leeds game going off, over any other venue I've been to to watch sport. Admittadly I didn't get to a premiership game. With tickets costing more than a days wages and i was desperately trying to save to go travelling again, I turned down Leeds United. Glad I did to, as it was reportadly a shocking game I was considering going to. I did make it to Bradford City vs Wolves, but the atmos had nothing on a Leeds Rhinos game.
Overall i thought Leeds was a lovely place to live and I wouldn't mind living there off and on in short bursts to watch some Super League and the autumn internations. However nothing beats the Shire.
I will probably go to London when I finish my degree to try and earn the mega bucks on offer. Although the prospects of travel based out of Aus have improved greatly in the last year. If I had done my trip through Central and South America to the UK and Europe this year instead of last, I think it would be around 20% cheaper thanks to our booming Aussie dollar.
